Wehrmacht license plate numbers
Every vehicle (except Pz.Kpfwg.) of the Wehrmacht had to have a registered license number. The Inspektion Kraftfahrwesen issued these numbers in blocks to various units. This is a great opportunity to identify the unit a vehicle belongs to on photos. Besides the unit emblem database I try to collect a database with license numbers of Heer, Waffen-SS, Kriegsmarine and Luftwaffe. I hope you find this section usefull to your research.
